Kinematic Viscometer Bath

Kinematic viscometer is used to determine the kinematic and dynamic viscosity of oil and petroleum products for both transparent and opaque types. Using U-tube / Capillary tube viscosity can be determined at constant and uniform temperature. The dynamic viscosity (n) can be determined by multiplying the kinetic viscosity (v) by the density of the liquid (r), (η) = (v) x (۲)

A Kinematic Viscometer bath is a rectangular shaped instrument. Inside tank is made of stainless steel sheet. Two sides of toughened glass windows are provided for full visibility with light arrangement. Four capillary tubes can be accommodated at the time of testing. It is supplied with a digital temperature controller. Viscometer glass tube (U-tube) is supplied as per IP, ASTM standards with a constant of bulb.
